CHAMPIONS

MANCHESTER UNITED

WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2008

Manchester United is the champions of 2008 Champions League. Third Trophy so far. 1968, 1999 and now 2008. Creating history. Be the first team that unbeaten in every appearance in the Champion Final match.

F1RST HALF

The match is tight since the Slovakian referee whistling. Start from the kick off, Manchester United rule and control the first 45 minnutes. The centre field coordination is very good. A lot of chance created by both team in the first 20 minutes. The score settled 0-0, 'cause of lack of finishing. And the results in 20nd minutes is two yellow cards for Paul Scholes and one for blues side. The match being hold for a few minutes, waiting for Scholesy treatment, for his face bleeding.

In a few minutes, Manchester United comeback with their game and rule the ball possesion, creating opening goal in the match. Thank's to Cristiano Ronaldo, The Number 7 Magician. Lack of defense in Chelsea Penalty area, from corner kick, Wes Brown gives crossing assist directed to penalty area, and the ball headed by Ronaldo. 1-0 for Manchester United.

After leading in the score sheet, Manchester United didn't slacken their attack. But, as usual, Chelsea is always late to put their fire on.

With a weak effort, caused by missunderstanding in front of United's net, Frank Lampard strike the rebound ball from Florent Malouda, and makes the score draw 1-1, in the very last minute of the first half. What a typical condition for United. They sometimes lost opportunity to lead the game in the last minutes.

Vice versa, Chelsea sometimes score the winning goal in the last minutes too. Disspoinment is clearly appear in the first scorer expression. But the game isn't over yet. There are still 45 minutes to played.

2ECOND HALF

On the second half, Chelsea played much more consistent than Manchester United. Chelsea midfilder played in a very good coordination each other.

In this second half, each side got a very good chance, but none of the chance turn into a goal.

Manchester United chance was coming from Carloz Tevez by his kick outside penalty area, but Petr Cech did a very good job to keep his net clean.

The other chance for United come from Ryan Giggs, but again, it didn't change the score shhet. John Terry made his best clean in the night.

EXTRA TIME

The extra time is the most boring moment in this whole match for me. Both team are exhausted and they are playing more slower than before.

The climax is when Didier Drogba being sent of by the referee, coz' slapping Nemanja Vidic in an argument between both team. Started by Carloz Tevez and Michael Ballack.

Even when Ronaldo missed during the shoot-out, the Portuguese wizard had done enough to remind the world of his virtuoso talent on the grandest stage. His first-half header was a gem, matched only by the excellence of Lampard's riposte just before the break.

If a night crammed with heroes offered up one villain it had to be Didier Drogba, deservedly expelled for slapping Nemanja Vidic. If this brilliant target-man does now exit the Bridge of sighs, he leaves with his head held low. His act of stupidity robbed Chelsea of a regular penalty-taker, so ushering Terry into the firing line.

As Drogba stood in the shadows of shame, a centre-half not known for dead-ball prowess had the nerve to take a penalty. When the studs of his left boot failed to grip on the slippery surface, echoing David Beckham's misfortune at Euro 2004, belief ebbed from the Londoners. As a distraught Terry went up to receive some metal that never glitters, the loser's medal, Chelsea fans rallied to their heartbroken captain, chanting his name.
